The Libyan city of Misrata hosts the 4th edition of the Urban Forum Expo

(Arab World News Agency – AWP) – The Libyan city of Misrata is hosting the fourth edition of the Al-Omran Exhibition and Forum, providing a platform for discussing and exchanging ideas and expertise. The event aims to achieve the community and professional engagement necessary for a highly efficient urban environment.

The two-day exhibition, which launched on Saturday, features an elite group of companies specialized in the fields of real estate development and investment.

Exchange of Expertise

Mohamed Al-Futaisi, a representative of one of the participating real estate firms, stated: “This exhibition brought together many local and international companies to exchange expertise regarding the urban renaissance that Libya will witness, God willing, in the coming phase. We hope for a fruitful exchange of knowledge between state institutions, local companies, and international firms.”

Bridging the Public and Private Sectors

The previous three editions of the exhibition were held in Tripoli and Istanbul. It serves as a gathering point for urban development firms, real estate investors, and engineering consultancies.

The participation of state executive agencies allows attendees to view the latest public projects in urban planning and development. It also opens doors for displaying services and exploring opportunities for cooperation and contracting with business owners and project managers.

Networking and Growth

Nader Al-Zawi, director of a participating engineering consultancy firm, said: “Our participation has been highly effective. We connected with other companies interested in collaborating with us on joint ventures, and others invited us to join future exhibitions. We aspire to establish partnerships with international corporations.”

Strategic Discussions

On the sidelines of the forum, panel discussions are being held where experts and officials meet to identify the most significant challenges and developments in urban planning, architecture, and real estate investment.
